Thank you so much for the sale, TheLastDodo! This blend sounded MAGICAL. I will simply copy and paste the list of ingredients, so you can see what I mean: Toasted coconut, chocolate, marshmallow root, cayenne, ginger, licorice, cloves, cinnamon, yerba mate.
All of those sounded like a fantastic idea. The dry blend itself looks like a lot of coconut and marshmallow root unless the yerba mate is really finely ground. Not as many spices as I’d expect but there are pieces of chocolate. Sadly, even with two teaspoons (as suggested), the blend seems to taste mostly of a sour yerba mate. Not really any notes of anything else! How is that possible? Such a shame! I tried to shake up the blend before putting some into a teabag too. The ingredients for this one sounded like it could be a favorite blend for me (cayenne! Chocolate!), but ended up disappointing.
