From Mei Leaf

The scent is dry leaves with a sharp minerality.
It has an Assam scent mixed with a little bit of flowers, and has a rather gorgeous atmosphere.

On the other hand, the taste is quite unique.
The gentleness of the mouthfeel is similar to Yiwu, but it is not as round.
It doesn’t have a lot of flavor, and the sweetness and umami are far away, but it’s interesting that it has a texture that soaks into your tongue and you can feel the minerality.
This batch has a bit of bitterness, but rather than a quality issue, this seems to be a result of the small-leaf variety in this region. If I have a chance to try something else, I’d like to pay attention to it.
I felt a bit unsatisfied as the tree was not very old, but it was a uniquely pleasant Pu-erh tea!
