This blend from Tokyo is an unexpected marriage between two teas from the Uji region, the noble Matcha, aristocratic powdered tea used in the Japanese tea ceremony and the Genmaicha, popular blend of sencha green tea and roasted rice.
The leaves have the jade green colour of the Matcha.
The cup, bright green colour, has a strong taste. The liquor is mild, with the notes of grains and hazelnuts of the rice, the vegetal fragrance of the sencha tea and the smooth, sweet aroma of the Matcha tea.
