Well worth the yearlong wait, one immediately appreciates this new, debut harvest – produced in one of the most beautiful gardens in Darjeeling. An exemplary millésime derived in the cold, humid air of its unique environment.
Leaves: strictly composed of newborn buds and leaves only a few days old, this fruity fresco in handsome green sprinkled with downy silvertips releases a stunning bouquet of brisk aromas.
Nose: a first hint of cool, green guava fills the senses while a delightful aroma of toasted brioche hearkens back to our childhood, as a dominant note of exotic kiwi flits in the background.
Liquor: bright and pale yellow, the opening notes of pawpaw and stewed mango alternate with tiny bits of astringency, creating a pleasant and persistent sensation on the palate.
A sumptuous spring time tea, in all its glory!
