White teas are considered by many to be the most premium of teas. They are the most subtle and are the least processed. They are known for being smooth, delicate and lightly sweet. Although they can be steeped longer than most other teas without developing bitterness, traditionally they are enjoyed in several infusions rather than one extended one. White Teas are very low in caffeine and contain high concentrations of tea catechins and the L-Theanine Amino Acid. In Kenya white teas are a specialty item. Our white tea offering is very gentle and divinely good!
Sawa Organic White Tea has a subtle, clean, lightly sweet tea has a toasty, buttery citrus aroma with a softly sweet, very smooth earthy nuttiness on the palate.
