“The description on the website is accurate: something between being a black tea and green tea. That’s what oolong essentially boils down to, but this one tastes exactly like that. I liked this...” Read full tasting note
“For whatever reason, this tasted just like the Himalayan Shangri-La Black from M&K.. I didn’t really enjoy the black tea, so I wasn’t a fan of this either.” Read full tasting note

DESCRIPTION:
Oolong tea isn’t just from Asia! This African (specifically Malawian) oolong tea is as extraordinary as they come. With a color reminiscent of glistening honey, this oolong is cultivated at an attitude of around 1000m above sea level, helping craft a different type of oolong than your typical Chinese Dan Cong or your Tie Guan Yin. This oolong is lightly oxidized, with beautiful shades of brown and green leaves. If you love black tea or green tea, this is the best of both worlds.
CAN I STEEP IT MORE THAN ONCE?:
Make sure you do! Oolong tea is a very complex category of tea, developing more and more with different steeps. Try steeping each subsequent steep a bit longer each time!
HOW MUCH CAFFEINE IS IN IT?
This tea has a MEDIUM amount of caffeine. Keep in mind, a longer steep time and a higher temperature will result in a larger caffeine transfer.
