“Guava and pomegranite? Count me in! This was another vacation tea (it’s possible I have a problem). After spending some considerable time trying to figure out which bag of tea to take home from...” Read full tasting note
“I’m not quite sure where the mischief came in on this one! It was quite bland, with only a hint of fruity flavor. It was also surprisingly astringent for a white tea. Overall, I wasn’t a fan.” Read full tasting note

Description

White Mischief Loose Leaf White Tea from Fujian Province is naturally withered and sun-dried. Our white tea is blended with juicy guava and tart pomegranate for a mischievous mix.
This tea will most certainly play mischief with your taste buds, sharpen your senses and enchant you with the complex but subtle flavors of pomegranate and guava.

From an area called Fu-ding in the mist covered mountains of Fujian Province this Pai mu tan white tea is made from the immature leaves of the tea bush picked shortly before opening. Silver fuzz covers the bud and turns white when the tea is lightly withered.

Until recently, white tea was largely unknown outside China, but its popularity is exploding and with good reason. The pale, sweet, silky flavor of a tea left so close to its natural state means more antioxidants to combat disease, fight viruses and boost your immune system. Also known to promote healthy and radiant skin, you must have our white tea in your pantry!

Drinking tea is a ritual for the Chinese and it should be for you. Set aside some time, relax and spend quiet moments with this beautiful, stress relieving tea.

20 to 25 cups of tea can be made from 2 oz of loose leaf tea.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS – Steep this tea multiple times as loose leaf teas have far more flavor than traditional tea bags due to the superior quality and freshness. Tea strength is a personal decision, so please experiment to determine your preferences.

Use water between 180 and 190 degrees F, or allow boiling water to stand for 2 minutes. Steep your White Mischief White Tea as little as 1 minutes, but not more than 4 minutes. For each of the following steeps use water of the same temperature and double the steep time. White Mischief White Tea can be steeped at least 2 times and depending on the steep times, as many as 4 times. Also, consider blending the first steep with the following steeps to balance the tea. If you do not want to drink all the tea, store in fridge for wonderful iced tea.

Store in a dry place.
