Harvest: May 2021
Area: Gaoligong Shan, BaoShan Prefecture / Yunnan
Cultivar: Qing Xin Ruan Zhi
Chinese medium-roasted rolled oolong from an organic garden in the Gaoligong Shan area on the border of Yunnan and Burma. The garden is at an altitude of 2150m. RuanZhi cultivars (Qing Xin Ruan Zhi) grow here in the volcanic soil of two burnt volcanoes located near the garden. The tea is extremely pleasant, light baking creates sweet cake aromas with tones of nuts and chocolate, while the natural aroma of the leaves complements the aroma with fresh fruit tones reminiscent of sweet exotic fruits and candied orange peel.
