Description

2020 Spring Harvest, Fuding, Fujian Province, China

Once favoured by Chinese Emperors, White Jasmine Silver Needle is one of the finest teas in the world. Delicately crafted, the Silver Needles uses the freshest and sweetest spring-picked tea and is then scented with real jasmine blossoms, resulting in a refreshing and divine infusion with notes of sugared candy and intense jasmine perfume.

This tea is not flavored and contains no additives or oils. The scenting process works like this:

The silvertip white tea is laid out on bamboo trays and then covered with fresh jasmine blossoms over 6-7 nights in well-sealed rooms.

Each morning the flowers are discarded and fresh jasmine flowers are layered over the tea again. The downy tea leaves will absorb their fragrance overnight.
Around 6kg of jasmine flowers is used to produce 1kg of Jasmine Silver Needle Tea.

After opening your Silver needle Tea, it has a shelf life of 2 years.

3g of tea per teacup. (200ml) Boil water to 75℃ with good, filtered water. Pour over the leaves. Steep for 1 minute.
