From Joffrey's Coffee &Tea Company

This South African red bush is the favorite tea of our Tea expert and one he returns to again and again. An opulent, caffeine-free blend of premium Rooibos, vanilla, almond, mandarin orange, flower petals and herbs. It’s brilliantly refreshing hot or iced.

Arby Advent Day 5
I love almond, and I love almond rooibos. There’s no way this shouldn’t be a winner. Unfortunately, I don’t like it as much as other brands’ versions of this tea. Hot, I found it a bit weak, and cold, it has a sort of strange flavor. The marzipan-like almond is there, but it’s overwhelmed. I think I might just not love the particular rooibos used in this blend. It’s just a little, I don’t know, sour? Okay now I’m looking at the ingredients. I bet that’s the orange causing that. Orange with rooibos can sometimes be great, but I don’t love it here mixed with the almond. Maybe if it were an orange cream instead of a sour orange. It’s not terrible, but I don’t need to seek it out.

Sad sipdown on an amazing tea. This is by far the best almond tea I’ve had, and it pairs so well with the rooibos.
