Description

In the Fujian province in China, it’s early spring when these very small buds and leaves are plucked, just before they open. The buds are covered in white hairs and it’s this appearance that of course gives ‘white’ tea it’s name.

For this fine quality tea, only the best leaves are selected, the ideal being two leaves wrapped around a new shoot. The leaves are then very left to wither naturally and dried before being sorted again to bring you only the best. White tea has the lowest caffeine content of the teas, but contains high levels of healthy antioxidants. Our Pai Mu Than gives a clear pale infusion and a fresh sweet flavour we’ll sure you’ll enjoy. It’s best enjoyed without milk or sugar after meals or as a light afternoon tea.
