Great skill and experience are needed to produce the thin tight strips of leaf without breaking the leaves. This skill is denoted by the word ‘congou’ (also known as ‘gongfu’ or ‘gonfu’ tea). Keemun consists of the fruitiness of dried plum, hints of pine and floweriness revealing hints of orchid aroma with the nominal ‘China tea sweetness’.
