Mangalam tea estate produces very high quality Assam Orthodox and CTC teas. The Orthodox teas from Mangalam tea estate are hugely in demand from the German market. Assam Second Flush Tea, most of which is grown at or near sea level, is known for its fuller body, briskness, malty flavor, and strong, bright color. Assam Tea is produced from a tea leaf that is relatively larger than its cousin, Darjeeling Tea. This black tea is known for its strong bright color and malty flavor.
