Description

Dancong Oolong tea is famous for its floral fragrance and long after sweetness. In addition, the tea liquid thickness is sought after by many tea connoisseurs.

Da Wu Ye (Big black leaf) belongs to the orchid aroma category and is a very pleasing and unique light-roasted Dancong. It has a soft tea taste and a high, clean, floral aroma. This spring tea has the best tasting tea liquor and highest aroma compared to other season’s harvest.

All of our light-roasted Dancong is stored in the freezer. It will maintain an excellent freshness until you receive it.

Harvest time: 2011 spring

Quantity: 50 grams

Origin: Shaojiao village, Mt. Wudong, Chaozhou, Guangdong province

Picking standard: two or three half-matured tea leaves

Shape: tight bar shaped tea leaves

Dried tea color: dark brown color

Aroma: natural and fresh unique floral fragrance

Tea liquid color: bright golden yellow

Taste: fresh, mellow, thick, unique flower taste

Brewing vessel: Gaiwan (120cc) or Yixing tea pot (120cc)

Water: purified or mineral water is the best.

Phoenix Dancong Oolong Tea or rather known as Huangzhi Xiang Dancong is crafted from the leaves of the Dancong bushes growing on Phoenix Mountain of Guangdong Province. Typical of Dancong teas, it is described as having contradictory body and aftertaste. Dancong names ussually represent a flower because of the floral smell it has. Dancong Oolong Tea was a tribute tea during the Song Dynasty.
