The first half of this was really nice and refreshing with a crisp citrus and pleasantly spicy ginger note, but the second half was very medicinal and woody with quite an unpleasant earthiness. I don’t quite know exactly when it crossed the threshold from yummy to icky, but the line must have been very thin. The flavours, I guess, just built up in a not super great kinda way. One of the few times I’ve found rooibos medicinal/mineral tasting – especially in the last few years.
