Ruby Black Tea is a native species of tea plants grown at Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan. It is regarded as a high-quality black tea variety. This Ruby Black Tea is grown at a locally-certified organic tea farm. The fresh tea leaves are plucked by hand and processed into a broken-leaf shape. Using a natural fermentation method, the leaves are withered under the sun for up to 12 hours. Ruby Black Tea has a reddish-brown color with a sizeable body and enchanting aroma. It tastes smooth, tropical, fruity, and has a slight citrus flavor.
