Labyrinth Tea

You will want to pop-in that VHS and move the furniture around, because our Power of the Babe Oolong tea blend with coconut and lavender will have you dancing like the Goblin King himself!

Here Comes the Power of the Babe?

That’s right, it’s our first Labyrinth tea blend, and it is a delightful glam-rock homage to our favorite iconic duo, Jareth & Toby. Taking into account this movie was considered a flop when it was originally released, it just goes to show that first impressions aren’t always right. However, when it comes to this Labyrinth oolong tea blend, you can bet your goblins, that this blend is the quintessential Labyrinth cup of tea you have been waiting for.

“Jareth: You remind me of the babe.
Goblin: What babe?
Jareth: The babe with the power.
Goblin: What power?
Jareth: Power of voodoo.
Goblin: Who do?
Jareth: You do.”

This tea blend starts with a smooth Oolong tea. We debated between a White tea and an Oolong for this blend but finally settled on a smooth and flavorful Oolong. Also present in this blend is lavender, coconut, candied pineapple, and butterfly pea flowers. There are also natural vanilla and coconut flavorings to round out the blend.

This blend provides a creamy coconut cup enhanced by the delicate smoothness of the Oolong, and is balanced by a lovely floral pop from the lavender. The candied pineapple lends a touch of sweet fruitiness that enhances the blend. The cup finishes with a beautiful blue shine courtesy of the butterfly pea flowers. Jareth would be so proud.

Cool Pop Culture Fact: Did you know that Gates McFadden, who played Dr. Beverly Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation, choreographed the Labyrinth? What a small world, Labyrinth meets Star Trek, now that sounds like fun!

Ingredients: Oolong Tea, Lavender, Coconut, Natural Vanilla & Coconut Flavor, Candied Pineapple, and Butterfly Pea Flowers
