This is one of the earliest 2020 organic black tea from Yunnan, China. Lighter in body than our regular Yunnan Gold tea, the smooth dark tea has lovely floral and chocolaty notes.
DRY LEAF: Well picked, wiry and full of golden tips with a mix of sweet floral and wheat fragrance.
WET LEAF: Dark woody color with a floral-fruity nose. Almonds, rose, apricot and some of the notes.
CUP: Amber liquor with an aroma of cacao, slight malt and dark honey notes. On the palate you get mid-to-heavy body with notes of chocolate, light tannins, and flowers. It is brighter and slightly lighter than our regular Yunnan Gold tea.
STEEPING TIPS
1 tbsp or 3 gm per 8 oz cup 195 F 3 mins. Second steep 5 min.ORIGIN
