There are several grades of White tea, with the silver needle (unopened leaf buds) being the highest grade and most highly prized of all white teas. Of Silver needle grade there are again several grades based on leaf size & processing. Our S N is the tip top grade from Lao Fu tea farm in Fujian Province! The taste is delicate, sharp and vibrant.
Our Silver Needle is perfect brewed with short infusions or big pot style. It goes a long way, 3.5g in a big teapot is great for sharing with friends. If brewing ‘Gong Fu’ (eastern style, short infusions) use 5g of tea, starting with 10 second infusions. caffeine levels are pretty low.
