Masala chai (meaning “mixed spice tea”) is a traditional beverage in India and has become an integral part of British cuisine along with Indian curries. This particular blend is everything chai should be: spicy, warm and soothing, and the touch of vanilla lends a creaminess to it that makes the blend taste absolutely fantastic.
The black tea base in this blend is a combination of Assam and Ceylon teas. Added to the black tea are Malabar Coast spices and Madagascar vanilla notes.
