While I was organizing my teas last week I stumbled across some samples that I had ordered during Fusion Teas Black Friday sale last year. My goal for the week is to finish any teas I still have remaining from last years orders (there aren’t very many) that way I can open up my new teas as they arrive. I didn’t place nearly as many orders as in previous years, so I think I’m finally out of the “I need to have all the tea” phase.
Maybe.
I ate a ton of food while we were back home last week and now that we’re home I’m regretting being such a glutton. I’ve had a stomach ache the last few days so I hoped the ginger in this blend would calm my poor overfull belly down. The ginger was the strongest flavor in this tea and I liked that it wasn’t over powering. It didn’t have that strong bite you normally get with ginger, but it made itself known above all the other ingredients. You could taste hints of blueberry and lemongrass, but the other flavors seemed to blend together. I felt like this needed to be a little bit sweeter so I dropped in a few pieces of german rock sugar and my sample was gone in no time. A really nice blend, not something I would turn to often, but definitely something I would order again.
