This tea was grown in a clean, agrochemical free tea garden and processed by extremely skilled hands. A new producer and garden for us, we’re very excited to be able to introdce one more small production High Mountain Oolong into our lineup this Winter.
Shan Lin Xi is located in the middle of Taiwan, and this particular garden is located about 1500 meters above sea level.
DESCRIPTION
The broth is eye catchingly beautiful, pure jade green in color and crystal clear. The first infusion offers up multi layered aroma of bright flowers, cream and citrus. The broth is very lively, with a thick creamy mouthfeel, and a stimulating mineral texture that fills the whole mouth and reaches down into the throat.
As the leaves open more and more, it becomes obvious that this is a very dynamic tea. Lots of development throughout a session; each infusion is different. Aftertaste is long lasting, mesmerising the drinker with a thick fragrant vapor.
This is an excellent tea, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
