Leaves of Da Hong Pao Yan Cha are regular, middle roasted and emits nice flavors of honey, cereal and some very light fruity scents. Aroma of wet leaves are refined and multi-layered. It is a mix of dark, roasty, biscuit notes with very pleasant milky and fruity scents. Taste is complex and round but notes of recent roasting are still present. Fruity and nutty nuances are enriched by strong, mineral rock-rhyme (Yan Yun). Aftertaste is sweet and long and dominated by fruity flavours.
