Dried Smoked Plum-Dark Plum Fuit Tea

Chinese Name: Wu Mei(Black Plum-Fructus Mume)

This herb is the smoked unripe fruit (green plum) of Prunus mume (Sieb.) Sieb. et Zucc. (family Rosaceae) which is produced mainly in Zhejiang, Fujian andYunnan provinces. It is collected in summer and baked with mild heat till the pulp looks yellowish brown, and then covered tightly while hot till the pulp looks black. The black plum is dried in the sun after removal of the nucleus and used without further preparation or stir-baked to charcoal.

Plum fruit, which is rich Containing the remaining alcohol, vitamin E, vitamin B family, vitamin C, malic acid, citric acid, iron, and phosphorus and so on. It is sour in flavour, neutral in property, acting on the liver, spleen, lung and large intestine channels.
