“Given the description of this tea, I’m honestly surprised that I thought it wasn’t too bad. Lavender? Jasmine? Earl grey? Sounds like something perhaps Dinosara or Alphakitty would love, but not...” Read full tasting note
“A friend sent me this as it’s her favourite blend. While there are jasmine notes in here, they don’t overpower so I can get past them in the tea. I believe I’ve had another version of this in the...” Read full tasting note

Description

Ooh-la-la flavor notes from “crème de la vanille”, Earl Grey, Jasmine, and Lavender deliciously blended with flavory Ceylons, Nilgiris, Assams, and Kenyas. French Blend boasts a good flavor, tempered with a flowery character and malty notes.

French Blend is a blend of teas from India (Assam & Nilgiri), Sri Lanka, Kenya, and China. The Assam component gives the tea richness – the Nilgiri and Ceylon a saucy but sprightly flavor. From Kenya, there is romance and mystery with superb golden color notes, and from China there is the delicate perfume of Jasmine – so often used in Parisian perfumes.

To cement the “French” character, lavender from Provence was added along with some rose petals. French Blend is a tea fit for the Latin Quarter along the Seine.

For the best brew, French Blend should steep in water that has been brought to a rolling boil for 2-5 minutes.
