Yu Shan oolong is another great tea from the master tea makers at Jhentea in Yilan, Taiwan. Yu Shan (Jade Mountain) is Taiwan’s tallest mountain, with the peak reaching 12,966 feet. Along the slopes of this national treasure are tea fields nestled among an almost constant cloud cover, where the raw leaf for Yu Shan oolong benefit from the high altitude and moist climate. Best enjoyed using traditional gongfu cha brewing techniques.
