Si Ji Chun, or Four Seasons of Spring is one of the most prolific tea cultivars of the last thirty years. The name implies a robust plant that can be harvested each season as though it were springtime. Si Ji Chun has become one of the most popular oolong teas in Taiwan with both farmers and tea drinkers.
Its presentation is quintessential Taiwanese oolong; a low oxidation green oolong rolled into compact pearls. It brews up with a light and refreshing taste filled with natural floral aroma. Be sure to invite guests to smell the gaiwan once this tea has been rinsed with hot water!
