Mid Grown 3300 feet above sea level. Doombagastalawa Estate, established in the late 18th Century is in the Mid Country Nawalapitiya District, which offers extraordinary scenic beauty as well as outstanding teas. Tasting Notes: dark golden brown with a biscuity taste. Medium bodied, deliciously dry and generous. Analogous to a Syrah grown in warm but not hot climate areas, on steeper slopes facing the sun. A handsome and impeccable tea.
Special triangular mesh bag allows large leaf teas to be used and to brew better as there is more space inside the bag. The tea can be seen clearly through the bag, enhancing its appearance.
