Fighting something decidedly nasty. Grapefruit seed oil is defintely helping, as is candied ginger and mint ice cream. Hoping this tea, mixed with a bagged dandelion tea, will help flush out some of the yuck.

I’m sure I overleafed this, as I’m using a brand new mug my daughter got me for Christmas – one of the Tea Forte ceramic tumblers with a metal strainer that fits snugly, covered with dogwood blossoms. I’ve yet to measure how much liquid it fits, so I guessed two cups. Yea, definitely wrong. Why? Because this is painfully strong. Medicinal, dark, thick, syrupy.

Let’s just hope it works. :)

I bought this when I had my first cold in over a year, but by the time I got this tea it was over.
So right now I’ve got some type of cold/allergies going on, my throat is super scratchy & a bit sore & I’m so congested its ridonculous!

So I brewed this up, it definitely helped while I was drinking it and for a bit after. It’s really not pleasant tasting, but I never expect anything for illness to taste good.
It tastes like a slightly sweet spaghetti sauce, quite strange.

Had this a day or so ago, forgot to log. Definitely tastes like a medicinal tisane, but not bad for one. Beats Theraflu!

Not sure why there isn’t an entry for this until now. Maybe no one else but me is sick?

This tea has a lot going on and I can clearly taste most of the ingredients, especially the fennel and thyme. It looks like a medicinal blend and tastes like one too, but it isn’t a bad tasting blend in the least. I can’t vouch for its efficacy, but I’d really like my runny nose to go away since I’m suffering from the tail end of my bout of the flu.

The rating of this reflects its comparison to other medicinal blends. Not the taste on a standard scale comparing all teas.

The fennel does come through, as does the thyme. Did you add a bit of sweetener to it?

Starfevre

Hi, thanks for responding! Yes, I did add a bit of sweetener to it. I tend to for most teas since I find it brings out flavours better for me.
