Used a redemption to grab this one! Such an easy drinker. Very smooth, no astringency at all. Rose is present but mild.

It’s been another long while since I’ve logged in to Steepster. I reached the bottom of my bag today for this tea, and I’m sad to see it go. I hope DAVIDsTEA will restock it in the future, and hopefully I’ll have enough points for another redemption by then. Meanwhile, I’ll resteep as many times as I can.

Cold Brew!

So I steeped this cold brew in a 50/50 combination of lemonade and water. Not just straight lemonade because I didn’t want to have to leave it to sit for several days to infuse since straight juice infusions tend to need more time given the potency of the juice. I wish I’d taken a photo of the infusion after straining because it was really pretty – like the standard pale yellow of a lemonade but with a slight rosy pink tint to it.

Steeped this works very well! It’s tart and more strongly lemonade like in the initial taste but it finishes softer and more floral with a very rounded oolong and rose flavour that is refreshing and nuanced and beautiful with the lemonade. I enjoyed it a lot and thought it was a very well combined flavour combination. Something I would totally revisit again!

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.
