From DAVIDsTEA

Yo ho ho-conut

Hot buttered rum is so delicious we want it all day long. Unfortunately, most employers frown on workplace drunkenness, so we came up with this rich and creamy alternative. Toasted coconut and vanilla beans mingle with black tea in a caramelized caress of flavours. Decadent hot or iced, it also blends perfectly with dark rum, brown sugar and a dash of milk – so go ahead and indulge your inner pirate, off the clock. (MK Kosher)

Ingredients: Organic: Fair Trade Certified Black tea, coconut flakes, vanilla beans, cornflower petals. With organic and natural flavouring*.

Oh this tea was such a disappointment for me! I was hoping it was going to be so good but it just wasn’t anything i would ever buy again ! The very buttery scent through me off, it is also a very expensive tea! Thankfully I just got this to go and didn’t buy a bag !

It was okay. By no means did it taste bad but I like sweet teas.

My friend raved about this tea to me this morning, and I am very excited to be living in Vancouver later this year so I can try it! Had a thorough browse of Davids Tea and other local tea shops. I definitely miss living in North America, where there’s much more variety in basically everything you could want.

I really enjoyed this blend, but after my 50 gram bag was finished, I didn’t have any urge to go back for a refill. Good tea, not amazing.

Pretty sweet black tea, I find the taste to be very mild, I wish it was tastier. It’s not bitter at all. It’s not my favorite, I like it, but I would not buy it.

This was the first loose leaf tea I tried and I was instantly hooked. Reminds me of the butter rum life savers. Mmmmmm!

Black tea mingled with coconut, vanilla, and cornflower petals. Wonderfully smooth and light.

I had a cup of this last night and it was just divine! The taste just makes you feel so cozy and warm, and the taste isn’t too sweet or too bland, nor does it taste watered down or too strong. I was able to make a second steep out of this and left it for an extra five minutes than what it calls for, it still tasted amazing! It’s such a nice tea if you want to kick-back and feel comfy. In my case, I had this cup of warm deliciousness while writing my physics lab, the tea really hit the spot and made me feel much more relaxed. Now to continue on my physics lab! ;(

Smells heavenly, but the flavor doesn’t do it for me — salty, buttery, and not much else. I never did get the “rum” undercurrent that others did. Disappointing, since I was excited to try this.
