Seriously, this might be the best way to stop a bear in its tracks. They love berries, and this tea is full of them. The aroma of black currants, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries is totally irresistible. Plus it’s calming, which is important when taming wild animals. Just don’t try to take it away from them.

I really like this tea iced. I tried it hot first and immediately put it over ice.
It was overly fruity hot- but just right iced. Didnt need any sweetner.

nummy a great berry tea. Its great ice and hot, fairly sweet. I wish that there was more raspberry and strawberry flavours in it, instead of black currents and blackberries(which I’m not a huge fan of), but it is still good as is.
I double steeped yesterday for a ice tea, first and second rounds were both great, I enjoyed the second one even more than the first.

I kind of forgot how much I’ve loved tea in the last couple of weeks. Between TMI’s, I haven’t really been feeling the need for tea, but tonight, I just feel better than usual, so I decided on the the Bear Trap. And I’m glad I did. Just so yummy and tart. Definitely upping the score on this one just a bit.

I like to try all teas hot to begin with. This was very fruity and a bit tart.
Of course, this would be way better cold brewed and sweetened a little. Spring will hopefully be here soon so I can have cold teas!

If you try this hot again…try it sweet and see what you think. My impression is that the berries become fully ripened with this addition and the tartness disappears. Wonderful thought to make a spritzer out of this in the Spring over ice with a mint twist.

Tried this for the first time last night, after letting it chill a few hours. I love the dry smell, lots of those good summer berries there (the blueberry, strawberry and raspberry) but the currants stand out especially, and it’s beautiful.
Iced with a bit of honey this is perfect. The berries and lemon verbena are a bit tart and zingy but also light and sweet. I used about 2 ‘perfect spoonfuls’ and forgot about it for a few minutes so it steeped maybe 15? But even with the rosehip and hibiscus, this didn’t taste oversteeped at all.
I will definitely be grabbing more of this, I can see myself going through this 50 grams very quickly in this heat!

Yet again a very easy tea to work with. It is herbal so you boil the water and it needs to steep for quite a while to get the strong berry flavour I am looking for. I can imagin the second steep will be good as well.

It has a sour berry taste but it is sweet at the same time, a bit hard to explain. I find it quite relaxing and something great to sip on while I work. It taste just as good cold as it does hot so if you forget it about it for a while it is fine, drink it down.

Smells prettier than it tastes, but is very berry and tasty. I may have made mine too strong as it was a tad acidic and sour, or steeped it too long which is a common mistake I make because I tend to like tea strong. I had to add sweetener to this one and then it was really pleasant. trying to avoid sugar to taste the real flavors…but this time I cheated!
