From DarjeelingTeaXpress

This world famous Castleton white tea represents one of the best white tea offerings from this renowned Darjeeling garden. Another one of those Darjeelings whose appearance alone satisfies the senses. Lovely, elegant twisted spider legs of many different colors, a nest of warm earth tones with fluffy silver tips. The superior cup suggests sweet treats, chocolate and a touch of liquour. Nice for an elegant afternoon tea with friends or to treat youself to something special.

These are indeed nicely scented and very attractive leaves, long and slender and sweet.

The brew is very thick and earthy, with a deep golden color.

But the taste is more nutty than earthy, in fact very nutty, which I really like.

A great Darjeeling tea to accompany an afternoon Vancouver Canucks matinee game.
