Often referred to as White Tip (bai hao) due to the silvery tips of the leaves used to make this tea, legend has it that the Oriental Beauty was named by the Queen of England in the 19th century. And like its namesake, this oolong is delicately alluring. Muscatel grape fruitiness is laced with touches of cinnamon, nutmeg and Muscovado sugar. Smooth and viscous, the ;liquor leaves behind a thin, translucent rose-gold film on the cup, the perfect metaphor for the aftertaste of the wonderful tea.
