Grown in Yuchi township in central Taiwan, this is a fine example of the spectacular black teas that has been coming out of Taiwan recently. Red Jade #18 is a cross between Taiwan’s own unique indigenous tea varietal and a Burmese Assam. This hybrid has been under creation in Taiwan over the last 50 years.
This season’s quality is spectacular with a strong summer fruit and berry aroma.
This tea is also known for its mint and cinnamon flavors in its profile. Through storage these flavors transform into sweeter fruit flavors.
