Description

Many teas in Japan are harvested by machines. This one is hand sheared with farmers taking several centimeters of the stem below the two or three leafs picked. Next the stem is cut from the leaves and each is processed alone. Once both are fully crafted the stem is added back to the finished leaves. The combination of leaf and stem gives us additional flavor, sweetness and perhaps even greater benefit to our bodies. Enjoyed by those new to green tea as well as “seasoned” drinkers. Compare with our Uji Organic for a warmer more woodsy flavor.
