HONG XIANG
Hong Xian is a not a very well known tea, even in Taiwan. This mountain, highly isolated in the centre of Taiwan, is actually in the middle of an ecological reserve. The tea is cultivated without artificial fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides and produced up to 2000 meters above sea level, giving this tea “the perfume of the high mountains”. Cooked for about 15 hours, this tea reveals notes of biscuits and pastries supported by notes of candied fruits, exotic fruits, Muscat grapes, coconut butter, honey and grilled almond. Luminous and comforting, this tea is beautiful and pure.
