Description

Rooibos—Afrikaans for “red bush”—is a hardy shrub that grows only in South Africa’s Cederberg mountains. South Africans have been making herbal tea from the foliage of this shrub for generations, and today this “red tea” is enjoyed around the world for both its slightly nutty taste and high antioxidant content. The rich, mellow flavor of rooibos is the perfect foundation for a blend of tropical flavors like coconut, lemongrass and orange. Along with spicy ginger and pink peppercorns, this naturally caffeine free blend is as colorful and alluring as the region that inspired its name.
