“hibiscustastic”- LOL! Hibiscus is an odd thing to put in a tummy wellness tea…
well this one doesn’t have any of it, it’s just that most of my celestial seasonings experience comes from the “X Zinger” teas (Red Zinger, Cranberry Zinger, Cranberry Apple Zinger, Red Cranberry Apple Zinger, Potato Zinger – I may have made some of those up) which are full of teh hibiscus. The lack of it here is probably why I liked it ;D
Was feel nauseous this evening so I decided to give this tea a shot. It is helping somewhat to soothe the discomfort. AS for the taste, the mint is definitely the first thing I taste. Added a little honey to help sweeten it and also to soothe my sore throat. So far, it appears to be helping. :)
Tastes like one of those cinnamon and peppermint flavored Starlight candies. Fennel noticeable after the swallow, along with licorice root. Pretty sweet. Cinnamon and peppermint together is a combination I tend to avoid. Not bad. Good peppermint. Don’t taste the chamomile. Why the need for mint and licorice flavors, though?
