Description

Just how did Earl Grey come to be? Well, back in 1830’s the 2nd Earl of Grey, Charles was his name, received a gift of tea flavored with the oil of Bergamot from the sunny slopes of Italy and being a black tea drinker lent his name to the now famous tea. Earl Grey tea is one of the most recognizable names in the tea industry and beyond (Devotees of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” will know that Captain Jean-Luc Picard drinks Earl Grey tea. ) An old friend to the end, our Earl Grey Black infuses the perfect balance of Oil of Bergamot and Ceylon black tea. It is the most popular tea in North America.
