Beautiful curly leaves full of golden tips. These leaves produce a very strong and highly concentrated tea liquor with an amazingly rich, sweet-malty flavour, a caramel nose and a long lingering aftertaste. A truly outstanding Assam tea to savour with a splash of milk. -100g Package

Very smooth and creamy with thick mouthfeel of sweet-malty flavour, no bitterness at all . Not too many layers discernible ,more like a big Spector-like “Wall of Sound” of flavours making it sort of unidimensional yet ,rounded and lush. So this tea might be a one-trick pony, but it’s one hell of a trick.

I’ll have to order from Capital Tea again once my cupboard is a bit smaller, I really enjoyed trying a variety of their Assam and Ceylon teas last time!
