Originating from one of Yunnan’s most famous terroirs (certainly a favorite among collectors), this Yiwu Pu Er 2003 was produced from century-old tea trees. A good quality harvest aged in Hong Kong in a controlled environment is reflected here by a deep and complex tea.
From the start, the leaves give to feel an amazing combination of rusticity and refinement (blond tobacco, dry wood, dried flowers) supported in the mouth by a liquor of a great softness. Its aroma of dry wood, raisins and hemp lingers in the mouth on a finish both honeyed and minty. A tea in full aging, to drink or to preserve.
