Camellia Sinensis had this tea as a sampler the day my roommate went to buy me my Hanukkah gift. She really enjoyed it so ended up picking 25 g for herself. This morning while we were straining the cold brew teas she brewed up a bit so that I could try it. It was a very interesting flavor experience because for plain white tea it had a very nutty flavor profile. There was no bitterness, no floral taste, and it was by no means a “delicate” flavor. I was actually quite impressed and it made for a good start to the morning.
Yum, I’ve quite enjoyed some of the Ceylon whites I’ve had.
It was definitely not what I expected from a white but it was very good nonetheless
