“I’m not a huge Darjeeling drinker but I definitely appreciate a really good first or second flush every now and then, and I’m fortunate enough to live near Camellia Sinensis which means I get to...” Read full tasting note
April 2024 Harvest
At an altitude of around 2000 metres, this garden offers a stand out batch of First Flush black tea with all the typical qualities enthusiasts of the classic Darjeeling style seek.
The leaves, with their varied tones, give a clear liquor with a round texture. The full flavour reveal woody (aromatic wood) and fruity (grapes) notes, with a lingering taste of green cardamom and a slight camphor effect in the finish.
Pleasant and harmonious.
