Cultivar: «Pure China»
Producer: Bikash Gajmer
Altitude: 2000m
From the last harvest of the year before the tea bushes go dormant for the winter, this black tea from Darjeeling (India) comes from a family garden that has been in business for 3 generations. The climate of the Himalayan mountains and the expertise behind the production of this classic style (cultivated from seed) provide the ideal conditions for developing the desired aromatic characteristics.
The fine leaves, whose chestnut hues are also apparent in the infusion, give a rich, velvety-textured liquor. The tea has a woody, malty body, airy notes of wild rose and a fruity finish combining aromas of green grape and dried mango.
Accessible yet complex.
