Ying Xiang is a relatively young light green, slightly oxidized Taiwanese oolong. It was bred from the cultivar Qing Xin (Chin Shin) and registered in 2004. The steamed leaves give off a wonderful floral scent. From the beginning, notes of Ylang Ylang flowers prevail, in later infusions the scent of rose flowers dominates. The infusion of tea leaves has a round, balanced taste. The aftertaste is long with a pleasant sweetness on the palate.
