Our Khongea Encore Assam has baker’s chocolate, wood, and malt notes. A light citrus note can also be detected. This malty Assam is stronger than our Premium Taiwanese Assam and originates from the Khongea Estate in the Brahmputra river valley of the Assam region in India. The Khongea Estate is a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, which focuses on sustainability and living and working conditions of those working at the tea estate.
