Description

A higher end xiao zhong, or “small bush”, black tea from Sichuan Province. A careful roasting process brings out deeper, complex flavor profiles from the leaf. Notes of golden raisins and dates dissipate into a distinct honey sweetness.

Cultivar: Zao Bai Jian

Origin: Junlian, Yibin, Sichuan Province, China

Brewing Suggestions: We recommend using spring or filtered water. Heat to 195F/90C. Use 2.5g / 2 tsp of tea for 12 oz of water. Steep 5-7 minutes.
