Description

Using Milan Xiang varietal material that would normally be destined to become a Dancong that we all know and love, this tea takes it a literal step further, undergoing a full roast and oxidizing to the point of becoming a black tea.

One of the more unique black teas in our lineup, this tea stays true to its honey-orchid varietal origins. There is a noticeable floral fragrance, while a honey sweetness that’s good enough for the bees will make you question whether someone slipped some honey in your cup when you weren’t looking. A prominent fruitiness also persists throughout the session, making this one of the more enjoyable black teas we’ve come across, and a pleasant diversion from our usual Dianhongs.
