i have to agree with cavo on this one. It’s not a bad tea but it’s not nearly what i want it to be. I’m going to try cold brewing this to see if that makes a difference. But it’s mostly a strawberry black with a hint of something else going on. sorta.
I haven’t reviewed this after several cups. I guess it’s just not what I was hoping for! Not enough lime, not enough strawberry. It’s sorta basic and plain.
I’m not that upset about it as Bayswater had plenty of other teas which I enjoyed more.
This had found its way into my straight tea bin as it was wrapped in foil, like a handful of other teas were in there – but it was a nice surprise to find! It’s actually tastier than I recall it being – medium base and kind of a limey, fruit flavour that’s fairly tasty. It’s not your conventional candy strawberry flavour, nor the lime that I’ve found in recent 52teas/AQ2T blends, but whatever it is, it’s enjoyable.
